Hypersensitivity

In recent years, my daily life has often been troubled by emotions. Whether it was my own emotions or those of others, I often felt affected and overwhelmed by them.

For example, when I spent time with others, whether it was my family, friends or colleagues, I quickly felt drained and in urgent need of returning to calm and solitude.

During therapy, I was supported and learned to find the causes of this emotional distress, to better recognize my desires, needs and limits, and to react with full awareness.

Since then, I remain someone who is sensitive but it is much less intense.

I no longer fear or feel ashamed of my reactions to external events and recognize that it was a way for me to alert to a certain discomfort.
